Our Story

Since the moment I learned what an animal was I knew working with them was my calling. At first, I took to horses. I rode for fun, competed, and managed stables. Eventually, I turned to dogs. In 2020, I went to the shelter to pick out my very own puppy. I was drawn to the shyest, most nervous one. She cowered when she was put in the greeting room with my sister and I. But in that moment I felt a connection. We took her home. Right away it was clear that Bree was not like other dogs I had owned. The world was scary to her, and it seemed that even at just four months old, she had experienced cruelty. Slowly, her confidence grew.

However, when she turned four years old, she began to show signs of reactivity towards other dogs and even people. She did not want to hurt anyone, but she was scared. I had help from various amazing trainers who gave me valuable advice I carry with me to this day. Owning and working with her showed me that I wanted to help other dogs like her. I wanted to offer support to owners like me, who felt alone and struggled with a dog so scared of the world. I focus on obedience, but I work everyday to grow my expertise so I can one day do exactly that.
